Heat pumps can deliver several units of heat for each unit of electricity, but performance varies with outdoor conditions, flow temperature, heat loss and controls. Correct emitter sizing and commissioning are essential.

The final design should confirm heat loss, unit output, SCOP, cylinder, controls and any radiator or electrical work.
