From first enquiry to handover

A clear installation process, from quote to completion.

See what happens at every stage: online estimate, technical review, preferred booking, survey, final quotation, installation, payment and aftercare.

Step by step

How Coconut Climate works.

The online journey saves time, but it does not replace proper technical checks. Each stage narrows the options until the exact equipment and installation scope are confirmed.

01

Tell us what you need

Choose air conditioning, a heat pump, servicing or repair. For a new AC installation, tell us how many rooms are involved and what you want the system to achieve.

02

Add the property and room details

Enter the address, property type, room dimensions, ceiling height, glazing and preferred indoor-unit style. These details help form an initial capacity and installation assumption.

03

Upload useful photographs

Room, outside-wall, outdoor-location and consumer-unit photographs help us identify likely routes and flag obvious complications before the survey.

04

Compare indicative package options

The website presents relevant equipment tiers and indicative supplied-and-installed prices. They remain estimates until the route, electrics, drainage and final specification have been checked.

05

Choose your preferred installation slot

Select an available slot from the live booking diary. It is a provisional choice linked to the quote journey and remains subject to the final survey and written quotation.

06

Reserve the process or speak to us first

You can pay the £250 survey and installation reservation deposit, which is credited against the final accepted job price, or ask a team member to contact you before proceeding.

07

Technical review and site survey

We confirm heat loads, equipment combinations, unit positions, pipe and cable routes, condensate drainage, electrical requirements, access, permissions and any finishing work.

08

Receive the final written quotation

The final document confirms the exact models, capacities, scope, assumptions, price, warranties and installation arrangements. This replaces the online indicative price.

09

Approve the specification

Once you accept the final quotation, you pay the amount required to bring the total paid to 50% of the final job price. Equipment and the confirmed installation programme can then be secured.

10

Installation, commissioning and handover

We install, pressure test, evacuate, electrically test, check drainage, commission each mode, set up controls and show you how to use and maintain the system.

11

Completion and final payment

The remaining 50% is payable upon completion of the installation, in line with the final quotation and agreed terms.

12

12-month workmanship warranty and aftercare

Every Coconut Climate installation includes a 12-month workmanship warranty, subject to the final written quotation and warranty terms. Manufacturer equipment warranties are separate and vary by product. You also receive the relevant handover information, with servicing, filter-care and fault-support options explained.

Indicative online estimate versus final quotation.

Both are useful, but they serve different purposes.

Online estimate

Fast and useful for early decisions

  • Based on the answers and photographs provided
  • Shows relevant package levels
  • Helps compare likely budgets
  • Can be completed before a survey
  • Remains subject to technical review
Payments

How the payment stages work.

  1. 1
    £250 reservation deposit

Paid when you decide to reserve the survey and installation process. It is credited against the final accepted job price.

  2. 2
    Final quotation issued

The survey and technical review confirm the final scope, equipment and price.

  3. 3
    Total payments brought to 50%

When you accept the final quotation, you pay the amount required so the total paid equals 50% of the final job price.

  4. 4
    Remaining 50% upon completion

The final balance is payable when the installation has been completed under the agreed terms.

What happens on installation day?

The exact programme depends on the number of rooms and complexity, but the core quality checks remain the same.

Protection and preparation

Work areas are protected and the agreed positions and routes are checked before drilling or fixing.

Mechanical installation

Indoor and outdoor units, pipework, condensate drainage, interconnections and supports are installed.

Electrical connection

The agreed supply, isolation and protective arrangements are completed and tested by the appropriate competent person.

Pressure test and evacuation

The refrigerant circuit is tested and evacuated in accordance with the equipment and installation requirements.

Performance checks

Cooling, heating, airflow, drainage, controls and operating temperatures are checked.

Handover

You are shown the controls, filters, sensible settings, maintenance needs and warranty information.

How it works FAQs

Is the 60-second quote a final quotation?

No. It is an indicative online estimate based on the information provided. The final written quotation follows technical review and a site survey where required.

What happens to the £250 deposit?

The reservation deposit is credited against the final accepted job price. The final specification, price and installation date are confirmed after the survey.

Can I speak to someone before paying a deposit?

Yes. Select the option to speak to Coconut Climate first and a team member will contact you to discuss the installation and next steps.

When is the final balance due?

After the final quotation is accepted, payments are brought to 50% of the final job price. The remaining 50% is payable upon completion of the installation.
